Hayley Dyer
I have been working in recruitment since 1999 when I was headhunted by Hays while doing part time work in my father’s architectural practice. From there I joined Hays Southampton and from there I set up the architectural desks for Matchtech and Hill McGlynn (now Randstad). In 2007 I decided to take a leap of faith and set up my own firm.
Recruitment has changed an incredible amount in my career with the introduction of the internet, technology, social business networks and A.I.’s, however what hasn’t changed is job seekers approach to how they go about their search. As of 2019 I introduced an online career coaching platform to not only educate and support job seekers with techniques to get them noticed but also to change their perception about how to approach their career development. Personally I believe every individual should consider themselves as their own business, their own personal “business of one”.
