Architectural Technicians/Technologists
About the role
We’re looking for Architectural Technicians/Technologists to play a critical role delivering project documentation and technical excellence for a portfolio that spans commercial, mixed-use, civic and hospitality sectors throughout the Middle East.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute technical expertise across a diverse range of innovative architecture projects. The successful candidate will play a key part in the preparation of project documentation, technical detailing, and quality assurance.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist architects with all aspects of design development, from concept through to completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities and relevant codes, applying appropriate standards such as BS or equivalent.
- Oversee technical detailing and the preparation of construction documents for a wide variety of project types.
- Collaborate with consultants and coordinate multidisciplinary design packages.
- Review drawings for quality and completeness prior to submission.
- Participate in the management of regulatory approvals and submissions to external stakeholders.
- Contribute to mentoring and supporting junior staff members within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
- At least 6 years’ professional experience in an architectural practice, with CIAT registration preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication, organisational, and team collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail.
